STOOL is a colourful little item designed to use up those difficult corners around the home. This was inspired by my nephew being sent to the corner and the contemplation I witnessed him having whilst there. I felt that having this moment to think was a great use of his time, and started to generate connections with this and the space that the corner represents.
STOOL brings together my concept by utilising the corner in terms of unused space but also by giving it its own unique use as a place to think.
It’s useful right angle is paired with a comfortable curve so you can sit on it with ease and the nylon feet provide protection for your floors as well as character to the design.
When multiplied the objects work in harmony, giving you a two seated space or a useful side table. It is also designed to stack, and so when not in use can be all be stored away together.
